Principle for unlocking and locking

A locking element is locked when no release command has been issued. The
locking element unlocks when one (or multiple) release commands are received.

Unlocking/permanent unlocking

A door is unlocked (Fig. 5) if the locking Hi-O Technology™ components receive a
release command. Passage through the door is enabled until all release com-
mands have been withdrawn.
The door is permanently unlocked if at least one release command, e.g. via key
switch, has not been withdrawn.
If multiple command elements should transmit release commands at the same
time, the door remains unlocked until all command elements have withdrawn the
release command.
In order to simultaneously withdraw all release commands, a component (or
superordinate component) can transmit a corresponding command. This proce-
dure must be technically supported by the command elements for this purpose.
