Locking

The Technilock ® L4 locks automatically when
· no control signal is present,
· there is no cylinder use and
· the striking plate is recognised.
The process is interrupted when the door is opened during the locking process.
The status signals are updated after locking has taken place.

Locking via the locking cylinder

The manual locking with the locking cylinder is an exceptional case, which can arise in the event of the
failure of the automatic function in the "fail-locked" product variant: With the presence of an error (or
defect) in the door, on the striking plate or on the Technilock
cally, so the door can be locked with the locking cylinder. Of course, this requires that the error does not
impair this function.
