Place the lower electrode of the device on bare skin about 5 cm below your
left nipple. Hold the device pressed carefully against your skin until you hear a
clicking sound (Fig. 2).
Upper electrodes
Method 2: Left hand – right hand
Place your right index finger on the upper electrodes of the
device. Place one finger from your left hand on the lower
electrode (Fig. 3).
Hold the device pressed carefully against your skin until you
hear a clicking sound.
Carry out the recording
The device automatically switches on and
The device now starts to record and a 30-second countdown appears on the
display. Continue to press the device against your skin until the 30 seconds
has passed. During the recording your current heart rate will be shown on the
display. A symbol also flashes in the same rhythm as your heartbeat.
When the 30-second countdown has finished, the recording is complete and
your final result appears on the dis-
play.
To switch the device off after recording, press the START/STOP button
30 seconds until the device automatically switches off.
