The ECG measurements carried out using the device cannot identify every sing-
le heart disease. Immediately seek medical treatment, regardless of the mea-
surement result, if you notice any symptoms that may indicate an acute heart
disease. If you should notice any of the following symptoms, please have them
clarified medically (this list is not exhaustive): pain on the left side or a feeling
of pressure in the chest or abdominal region; radiating pain in the mouth/jaw/
face, shoulder, arm or hand; pain around the back; nausea; burning in the
chest area; tendency to collapse; difficulty breathing; racing heart or irregular
heart rhythm.
Do not use any defibrillators while recording an ECG.
Do not record an ECG while undergoing an MRI examination.
Recording your own ECG is not a substitute for medical treatment! Do not
interpret the electrocardiograms by yourself and do not use them for self-pre-
scribed treatment. Take measurements based on the instructions of your
doctor and trust his or her diagnosis. Take medications as prescribed by your
doctor and never change the dose on your own.
The device is not a substitute for either a medical examination of your heart
function, nor recording of a medical electrocardiogram that must be obtained
using more elaborate measuring equipment.
The device does not diagnose any medical conditions that may be the possible
cause of the change observed in the ECG. This can only be done by your trea-
ting doctor.
It is recommended that you record the ECG curves measured and give them to
your treating doctor if necessary.
Power supply (batteries)
Observe the polarity labels plus (+) and minus (-).
Only use high-quality batteries (see specification in Chapter 14 Technical data).
If you use low-quality batteries, we can no longer guarantee the specified num-
ber of measurements.
Never mix old and new batteries or batteries from different manufacturers.
Remove empty batteries immediately.
Replace batteries if the battery symbol remains illuminated.
Always replace all the batteries at the same time.
If you do not intend to use the monitor for a longer period of time, you should
remove the batteries to prevent possible leakage.
