Install the dipstick firmly in place.
Changing the Engine Oil and Filter
Service Interval: After the first 50 hours
Every 150 hours—Replace the engine oil filter.
Every 150 hours—Change the engine oil,
including synthetic oil (more often when
operating under heavy load or in high
temperature).
1.
Start the engine and let it run until warm; this
warms the oil so it drains better.
2.
Set the parking brake, stop the pump, stop the
engine, and remove the ignition key.
3.
Raise the seats.
CAUTION
Components under the seat will be hot
if the sprayer has been running. If you
touch hot components you may be
burned.
Allow the sprayer to cool before
performing maintenance or touching
components under the hood.

Place a pan below the oil drain.

Remove the drain plug

Place a separate pan under the oil filter.

Remove the old oil filter

Wipe the filter adapter gasket surface.
9.
Apply a thin coat of new oil to the rubber gasket
on the replacement filter.
10.
Install the replacement oil filter to the filter
adapter. Turn the oil filter clockwise until the
rubber gasket contacts the filter adapter, then
tighten the filter an additional 1/2 turn

Note:
Do not over tighten the filter.
11.
When the oil has drained completely, replace the
drain plug and torque it to 10 ft-lb (13.6 N-m).
12.
Dispose of the used oil at a certified recycling
center.
13.
Remove the oil filler cap and slowly pour
approximately 80% of the specified amount of oil
into the engine at the oil filler
14.
Check the oil level.
15.
Slowly add additional oil to bring the oil level to
the full mark on the dipstick.
