OPERATING PROCEDURES

Freezer Door Assembly

1. Before assembling the freezer door, check the
following for any nicks, cracks, or signs of wear: door
bearing, door gasket, draw valve, O-rings, and all
sides of the door assembly, including the inside of the
draw valve bore. Replace any damaged parts.
2. Place the door O-ring into the groove on the back of
the freezer door. Slide the front bearing over the
baffle rod so the flanged edge is against the door. Do
not lubricate the O-ring or bearing. 
(See Figure 6-12.)

3. Slide the three O-rings into the grooves on the draw
valve and lubricate. (See Figure 6-13.)
4. Lightly lubricate the inside of the top of the freezer
door valve cavity. (See Figure 6-14.)

5. Insert the draw valve from the top, with the draw
handle slot facing forward. (See Figure 6-15.)

6. Insert the baffle rod through the beater in the freezing
cylinder. With the door seated on the freezer studs,
install the handscrews with the longer ones on top.
Tighten equally in a crisscross pattern to ensure the
door is seccure. (See Figure 6-16.)
