7. Basic setup procedures
7.11 Install a row of ILite rental tiles into a hanging configuration
This procedure describes how to install a row of ILite rental tiles in order to build a trussed ILite display. The
ILite rental truss beams has to be attached with the first row of ILite tiles before starting with this procedure.

How to install a row of rental tiles into a trussed configuration ?
1. Ensure that both latches (A), both safety clamps (B) and both row levers (C) of the rental tile you want to install, are in open
position.
Tip:
It's possible to place both lathes (A) in closed position before attaching the rental tile. Do this by sliding the tilt clip away
from the latch. While placing the tile into position, like described in step 3, the latches will snap over the latch receivers
of the tile above. This way the rental tile is immediately attached with the rental tile above. Skip step 5 in case you attach
the rental tiles in this way.

2. Is this the first tile of the row?
If yes, skip this step and proceed with step 3.
If no, ensure that the side latch hook (image 7-22 ref D) of the last installed tile in the row, is completely turned open.
Tip:
Turn the handle (D), which operates the side latch hook, as much as possible counterclockwise to obtain the open position
of the hook.
3. Place a rental tile below the previous installed row, start at the left side of the LED-display seen from the rear, as follows:
a) Align the front of the rental tile with the front of the installed tiles while approaching the desired location.
b) Place the right top side of the rental tile, seen from the rear, against the tile above by tilting the tile a little bit. The right
positioning pin of the tile to place should fit into the right positioning hole of the tile above. See image 7-45.
c) Lift up the other side of the tile with a turning movement. This way, the side position pin, of the previous installed tile at the
left, will easily fits into the side position hole of the tile to place. This is of importance from the second tile on in the row.
Caution:
Do not release the tile yet. Hold until the rental tile is secured with safety clamps and latches.
