TestPrint Menu

Performs nozzle check of the print head and setup list.
NOTE
• When "Graphics 1" or "Graphics 2" is set in the Print Mode menu, "PalettePrint" is not displayed.
5.2.2.1 Print mode menu
• When using the 4-color set, the item for "Nozzle check B" is not displayed.

Perform the nozzle check printing.
It is used to check whether there are any clogged heads, or missing or blurred prints.
3.6.1 Nozzle check
Performs nozzle check printing for white ink.
3.6.2 Nozzle check B
Mode print can be performed.
Used to confirm the following printing conditions.
• Print quality
• Effect
• Adjustment value
3.6.3 Mode print
Setup list printing is performed.
Use it for checking the setup item of the printer.
3.6.4 Setup print
Palette printing is performed.
It is used to compare pen colors of the computer the colors printed by this printer.
3.6.5 Palette print
Print the color patches, then measure the color using the optional spectrophotometer
(SPECTROVUE VM-10). Compare the currently printed color with the previously printed
color to check the color difference.
3.6.6 Color verify
Print a test pattern, check any misalignment between print heads, and then perform
adjustment.
3.6.7 Head adjustment
• [Enter] key:
"Printing" is displayed on the operation panel and test printing starts.
• [Cancel] key: shifts to the previous menu.
