Individually Canceling Pressurizing Rollers

The pressurizing rollers incorporated in this printer can be individually disabled.
Once the roller is canceled, it does not hold the media when the media setting lever is in the DOWN
position.
You can use this function when
• printing on a thin or soft media
• using a jig to print on the media and you want to disable the pressurizing rollers on the jig.
NOTE
Printing on a thin or soft media can easily cause wrinkle on the media, leading to head strike and
smears on the media.
To prevent this problem, it is recommended to evenly disable the pressurizing rollers.
