CIM Information Settings
If CIMs are used, set the parameters for each CIM as required. You need to configure CIM
Settings before selecting the specific CIM and configuring its CIM Information Settings, as
shown in

4.6.2 User Mgmt. Page

The User Mgmt. page allows you to add, modify, and delete users who can log in to the
WebUI, as shown in
Issue 08 (2020-01-09)
This parameter is not sent to the CIMs and is used by the SNMP card. Example: If the number of
actually connected CIMs is 4, set the number to 4.

CIM address: CIM communication address. It must be unique. Other communication
addresses refer to other CIM communication addresses. The CIM1 communication
address is 60 by default, the CIM2 communication address is 61 by default, and the like.
Number of BIMs: The total number of BIMs under the CIM.
Number of BIMs = Number of batteries in a battery string x Number of battery strings
connected to the CIM. (On the Monitoring > Param. Settings page, when you set the
battery strings, the number of BIMs of a single battery string under the CIM cannot
exceed the number of BIMs set here.)
Total battery string capacity (Ah): The total capacity of battery strings connected to
the CIM. The default value for UPS2000 is 7 (Ah).
Number of batteries in a battery string: The number of batteries in each battery string
under the CIM. (On the Monitoring > Param. Settings page, when you set the battery
strings, the number of BIMs of a single battery string under the CIM cannot exceed the
number of batteries in each battery string set here.)
Number of battery strings connected to the CIM: The number of battery strings under
the CIM. (On the Monitoring > Param. Settings page, when you set the battery strings,
the number of battery strings under the CIM cannot exceed the number of battery strings
set here.)
Batt Str Connected in Paral: The number of battery strings connected in parallel under
the CIM. The default value is 1.
Current source: CIM current source. Battery strings 1, 2, 3, and 4 correspond to Hall_1,
Hall_2, Hall_3, and Hall_4 ports on the CIM respectively. For example, if you need to
obtain current information about the four battery strings under CIM_1, connect Hall
effect sensors to the Hall_1, Hall_2, Hall_3, and Hall_4 ports on the CIM.
Battery installation time: The installation time of the batteries monitored by the CIM.
The CIM information configuration will be sent to the southbound CIMs. Example: Set the number of
CIMs to 4, set the number of BIMs connected to CIM1 to 20, set the total battery capacity to 7 Ah,
connect one battery string, and set the number of batteries in each battery string to 20. Set CIM1, CIM2,
CIM3, and CIM4 in sequence.
