Issue 08 (2020-01-09)
The DIP switch of the first CIM must be the start address (0000, for its meaning, see the example), and
the DIP switches of the CIMs must be consecutive.
The CIM information configuration will be sent to the southbound CIMs.
Number of battery strings and Number of batteries in a battery string refer to information about the
battery strings connected to the UPS. The parameters are not sent to the CIMs. The SNMP card
associates the battery string information with UPSs. This is different from the number of battery strings
in Config > Comm. Config > CIM Settings.
Set the Number of battery strings. A maximum of four battery strings can be added for
each UPS.
Set the Number of batteries in a battery string.
Battery strings can be added only when the Number of battery strings is not 0.
Set the Batteries String No. The No. cannot be greater than the number of battery
strings set on this page.
Set the CIM No. The No. cannot be greater than the Number of CIMs set on the
Config > Comm. Config page. One CIM No. can only be set for one UPS.
Set the BIM Start No.
Set the BIM End No. The BIM End No. cannot be smaller than the BIM Start No., and
cannot be greater than the Number of BIMs set on the Config > Comm. Config page.
