Apart from the possible spring adjustments, the
air volume in the fork leg can be modified by
increasing/decreasing the oil level. Adjusting
the oil level can affect fork behavior decisively
under different working conditions.
To improve the fork's progressiveness, raise the
oil level slightly. Heavier and/or aggressive rid-
ers can help avoid bottoming the fork and im-
prove the second part of fork compression by
decreasing the air volume. A
specified height is allowed.
The table below indicates the proper oil levels (H)
down into the stanchions (with the stanchions
compressed and the springs and top cap assem-
blies removed).

Per ottenere dalla forcella le massime prestazio-
ni, oltre alle regolazioni possibili attraverso i
registri esterni, è possibile modificare il volume
d'aria presente all'interno dello stelo, va-
riando il quantitativo di olio. Infatti, il quantitativo
di olio può influenzare, anche in maniera deter-
minante, il comportamento della forcella nelle
diverse fasi di funzionamento.
