Belt Tension Adjustment

Tool Carriage Belt

After replacing the tool carriage belt or belt itself, the belt adjustment is required. Please follow the
procedure below.
1.
Move the tool carriage to the far left
end of the guide beam.
3. Place the belt tension gauge at the
center of the belt, and measure the belt
tension.
1:
The desirable tension is as follows:
VC2-600
VC2-1300
VC2-1800
2:
Tighten the upper and lower screws evenly to
secure the belt in the proper position.
3:
Tighten the 2 retaining screws on the top of the
housing once the adjustment is made.
VC2E-MM-00
650g - 850g
220g - 320g
180g - 200g
2. Loosen the 2 retaining screws on the top
of the carriage belt roller housing.
4. To adjust the belt tension, adjust the
screws on the side of the carriage belt
roller housing.
To tighten the tension, turn the screws
clockwise. To loosen the tension, turn
the screws anticlockwise.
