Installing and Operating Low-Pressure Valves

This appendix describes how to install the following options in the Dionex ICS-4000:
• Low-pressure valves (two-way valves, P/N 079848; three-way valves, P/N 061971).
Two-way valves provide on/off control of liquid flow in one direction. Three-way valves
provide control of liquid flow in two directions.
• Peristaltic pump (P/N 082504). For instructions, see
Peristaltic Pump"

Instructions for configuring the valves and pump in Chromeleon and for operating the valves
and pump in Chromeleon and from the touch screen are also included.
To install a low-pressure valve
1. On the Dionex ICS-4000 rear panel, locate the two low-pressure valve mounting
locations and the two low-pressure valve electrical connectors (
(see
Figure
69).
