Battery Maintenance

The battery life of an Analog Clock is over four years with use of high-quality alkaline batteries. Therefore, it's important that
fresh, superior-quality batteries are used with an expiration date that exceeds five years past the current year.
Low battery notification
When the batteries of an Analog Clock need to be replaced its second hand advances and pauses continuously (stepping),
instead of one second at a time until the batteries are replaced. The clock may display the correct time, but the batteries should
be replaced promptly to restore normal operation. The stepping pattern continues until its batteries are replaced.
