If
you are installing an LCe expansion then:

a. Connect the cable supplied with the LCB expansion between the
LCB expansion and its LCB base.
It does not matter which end of the cable is attached to the LCB
base.
There is no label for this cable.
b. Tighten the retaining screws on the cable connectors.
Label the LIC 11 cables using two LlC 11 labels (part number
63F2504).
a. Record the following information from the plugging sheets onto the
labels:
• IBM 3746-900 name
• LeB:
~
Number
- Location
• Range of the LlC 11 addresses.
b. Stick two identical labels at both ends of the cable (see the
two

Connect the LIC 11 cable to the LCB base and tighten the cable plug
retaining screws. Refer to "Unplugging or Plugging in LlC Cables" on
page 3-7 for details, and also
