9.5 Record Setting

This item allows you to control the Record Settings for recording and Time shift. Select the settings that are
most convenient for you. Or just keep the general default settings.
Timeshift Step (Minute:Second)
Jump step in Timeshift. Use tu to jump during the Timeshift playback.
Timeshift Duration (Hour:Minute)
Define the maximum time to reserve on the USB device for Timeshift.
Start record earlier Select pre-roll time up to 5 minutes to start a recording earlier than the foreseen time. Be
aware of overlaps with other programmes.
End record later
Select time up to 5 minutes to continue a recording after the foreseen time ends. Be aware
of overlaps with other programmes.
REC Icon
Select the time the Record Icon should stay on screen. Options are: On for continuous
display, 5Sec, 10 Sec.

9.6 Storage Device Setup

This item allows you to setup your Storage Device if not done so on a PC previously. Use BLUE to format the
USB device in FAT (for FAT 32)
NOTE:
After format, use RED to safely remove the HDD.
Data transfer will stop, before you pull out the device.

10.0 NETWORK

This item allows you to setup your network connection.

10.1 IP Setting

Connection
Select between Local connection and WiFi connection
DHCP
Select between On and Off
Your router can automatically provide the correct setting for the internet use. Be sure that
your router is set to DHCP. If DHCP is set to Off, you can manually setup your connection
below. Some expertise is required.
IP:
Set the IP address manually.
MASK:
Set the MASK address manually.
GATEWAY:
Set the GATEWAY address manually.
DNS1:
Set the main DNS address manually.
DNS2:
Set an optional alternate DNS address manually.
SET:
Press OK to Store the parameters and start to connect to Internet.
NOTE:

The unit cannot format in NTFS, but you can use a previously in a PC formatted
NTFS disk.
It is recommended after use, to always remove the USB device safely, to avoid
data corruption.
Formatting a USB device will remove all previous data on it!
A pop up message is shown to indicate whether the connection is successful or not.
