Routing power cables through the MLM-WB+ side panel
This section explains how to route A/V and control cables through the MLM-WB+.
To reduce electromagnetic interference, the A/V and control cables should be
routed separately from the power cables.
1.
Remove the right side panel from the MLM-WB+ by loosening the nuts on the
inside of the unit and then pushing the panel out. Set the panel aside.
Feed the A/V cables through the small rectangular openings in the right side

panel to route cables to and from the 4U and 2U rack enclosures.

Route the A/V and control cables through the opening in the rear panel or
through the top or bottom of the enclosure through a knockout.
If you route cables through the top or bottom of the MLM-WB+, install a
conduit or raceway through a knockout. Allow enough cable inside the
MLM-WB+ to permit the door to open fully when cabled equipment is
installed.
The installer is responsible for providing the conduit and fittings; Extron does
not provide these items.
