Cleaning the wash arms

The nozzles in the spraying arms (15) and
(22) may calcify or become soiled due to
food scraps. Check the nozzles regularly and
clean them if required.
1. Empty both dish racks (21) and (23) and
take them out of the dishwasher.
2. Pull out the lower spraying arm (15) in an
upwards direction.
3. The upper spraying arm (22) is affixed
using a bayonet closure. To remove the
spraying arm (22), hold the bayonet clo-
sure firmly and loosen the spraying arm
(22) by turning it clockwise.
Put on a work glove so that you can
hold the bayonet closure more firmly.
4. Clean the nozzles under running water.
5. Reattach the spraying arms after clean-
ing.
The spraying arm must be firmly affixed
and must be able to rotate freely.
Care and maintenance

Complete cleaning

In well-stocked supermarkets and drug-
stores, you will find special dishwasher clean-
ing products. The dishwasher is cleaned with
these products when the dishwasher is emp-
ty. This cleaning work is very intensive. You
should clean the dishwasher in this way from
time to time. When doing so, note the manu-
facturer instructions on the packaging.
Protection against frost
damage
Position the dishwasher in an area which is
protected from frost, if possible. If this is not
possible, protect the dishwasher against frost
as follows:
1. Pull the mains plug out of the socket.
2. Close the tap and unscrew the inlet hose
(26).
3. Let the water completely drain out of the
inlet hose (26). Use a bowl with a flat
edge or a pan to collect the water.
4. Take out (16) the filter(see „Cleaning the
filters" on page EN-20).
5. Use a sponge to remove water from the
bottom of the dishwasher.
