Add dishwasher salt:
– with water hardness 'medium' to 'hard',
– prior to using the dishwasher for the first
time,
– when the dishwasher salt display
lights up.
1. Take out the lower dish rack (23).

2. Turn the dishwasher salt container's lid
(17) in a counter-clockwise direction and
remove it.
3. Upon first use: Fill 1.5 l of water into the
dishwasher salt container (17) so that the
dishwasher salt does not clump.
4. Place the dishwasher salt filling fun-
nel (28) on the opening of the dishwasher
salt container (17).
5. Add dishwasher salt up to the edge of the
dishwasher salt container (17) (approx.
1.5 kg).
6. Stir the dishwasher salt with a spoon han-
dle or similar.

7. Place the lid onto the dishwasher salt
container (17) and tighten in a clockwise
direction.
8. Reinsert the lower dish rack (23).
9. Start a programme immediately or carry
out a test run when first used (see „Initial
commissioning" on page EN-26).
