Emptying and switching off
the dishwasher
CAUTION!
Risk of scalding!
A surge of hot steam can escape if the dish-
washer door is open.
Keep a suffi cient distance from the door.
Never hold your head or upper body di-
rectly over the open door.
Make sure that children do not open the
door if the programme has only fi nished
a short time ago.
Allow the dishes to cool down a little be-
fore emptying.
CAUTION!
Trip hazard!
The dishwasher door standing open can
pose a tripping hazard.
Do not leave the dishwasher door com-
pletely open.
Open the door slightly so that the dishes
can cool down.
Make sure that children and pets do not
stand on the open door.
After the programme has ended, an acoustic
signal will sound lasting several seconds. The
default display appears (6).

5. Press button (1)
to switch the dish-
washer off.
6. Turn off the tap.
7. Leave the door slightly ajar until the dish-
es have cooled down.
8. Empty the dish racks (21) and (23) as
well as the cutlery rack (20).
9. Leave the dishwasher door slightly ajar so
that the dishwasher can cool down and
dry.
First empty the lower dish rack and then
work your way up. This will prevent water
dripping onto the lower layer of dishes from
the top racks when emptying the dishwasher.
