4.3 Disconnecting the sunbed from the
mains/preventing from switching on

4.3.1 Disconnecting from mains

Danger!

Whenever you need to do work on the sunbed,
you must first disconnect it. This means that all
electrical wires must be switched off.
•=
Switching off the sunbed alone is not sufficient as
certain parts of the equipment may still be live.
You must therefore switch off all fuses and
remove them if possible.

4.3.2 Preventing from switching on again

Danger!
Accidental switching on again of the sunbed can cause
very serious accidents.
As soon as the sunbed has been disconnected, you
must secure all disconnected switches and fuses
against being accidentally switched on again.

Secure the fuse box with a padlock
•=
On automatic cut-outs that cannot be removed, a
length of adhesive tape bearing the words "Do
not switch on – DANGER" can be stuck over the
switches (1) and (2).

must be displayed securely at all times.
Danger!
Prohibition signs must not be attached to or make
contact with parts that are live.
