onthedisplayandprintthefimtlinemessage,thenpnnt thelastlinemessage
after feedingto the bottomof the page.
If youhaveloadedthe fanfoldpaper,only the firstline messageis printed.

can only be selectedfrom the controlpanel.This preventssoftwareinter-
femwe. Youwillhearan acknowledging beep,andtheprinterwillshowthe
"PITCH LOCK"
messageon the displayas powercomeson.
Afterthebeeptone,youcan settheprinteroff-line,selecta printpitck then
returntoon-lineandstartprinting.Thepitchyouselectedwillshowwith"*"
on the displayandnotberesetor otherwisechangedby anycommandsyour
softwaremay issue.
Font lock mode

button duringpower-up,fonts can only be
selectedfromthe controlpanel.Thispnxents softwmvinterference. T here
will be an acknowledging beep and
"FONT LOCK"
messageon the display.
After whichyou can set the printeroff-line,selecta font,then neturnto the
on-linestate and beginprinting.The selectedfont, shownwith "*" on the
display,will not be changedby any commandsyour softwaremay issue.
