Whenusingyourprinterwith anIBMPS/2,PC-ATor compatible,YOU will
phbably be usingPC-DOSor MS-DOSas an operatingsystem.A number
of software tricks may be useful here. This chapter is not, however, a
substitutefor the operatingsystemmanualssuppliedwith yourcomputer.
To learn how to print files,etc. it is best to read the relevantparts of these
manuals.
INSTALLING APPLICATION SOFTWAREWITH
YOUR PRINTER
Wheninstallingapplicationsoftware,youmay find that yourprinteris not
specifically mentionedinthelistsofprintersgivenforinstallation. H owever,
thisshouldposenoproblem.Readthissection,andguidelines providedwith
your softwareon printerinstallation.
