ADJUSTINGTHE PRINTINGGAP
The distance between the print head and the platen can be adjusted to
accommodate differentpaperthicknesses. T omakethisadjustment, o penthe
front cover. The adjustmentlever is located at the left side of the printer
mechanism. Pushing the adjustmentlever backwards narrows the gap;
pullingit forwardswidensthe gap.
There are seven positions,and you can feel the lever clickinginto each
position.Thesecondpositionfromtherear(markedwith'' o")is theonemost
commonlyused for singlesheetsof paw.
Try differentpositionsuntilyou get the bestprintingresults.
NOTE :Printingwith an inappropriate gap may drasticallyshortenthe life
of the printhead.
