CHART 3901. TROUBLESHOOTING (ANNUNCIATOR PANEL)
Trouble
All lights fail to operate.
All the warning lights fail to
extinguish after engine is
running.
Oil or gyro air warning light
fails to extinguish.
Oil or gyro air warning light
fails to operate.
Overboost warning light fails
to extinguish.
Overboost warning light fails
to activate.
Alternator warning light fails
to operate.
Alternator warning light fails
to extinguish.
Test switch fails to activate
warning lights.

Cause
No current.
Test switch grounded out.
Sensor activates at too high
a setting.
Sensor terminals bridged.
Defective sensor.
Lamp burned out.
Sensor activates at too low
a setting.
Defective sensor.
Manifold pressure gauge
sensors set too low.
Lamp burned out.
Defective sensor switches.
Lamp burned out.
Circuit breake tripped.
Defective alternator output circuit.
Bad switch or connections.

Remedy
Check all wire segments, connections
and the receptacle at the side of
the annunciator panel.
Check terminals and replace
switch if necessary.
Replace.
Remove material between terminals.
Replace.
Replace.
Replace.
Replace.
Check sensor activation. Sensors
should activate at 36.1 to 36.5 inches
of mercury.
Replace.
Check. Replace gauge as necessary.
Replace.
Reset, if it trips a second time, check
CB, replace if defective.
Check and repair.
Check wires and replace
switch if necessary.
