Do not scratch the finely machined sealing surfaces on
the valve plates (5) and valve inserts (6).

Screw the valve cap (7) on to the suction side - see Fig. 23.
2.
Carefully remove the parts from the valve body (4).
3.
Replace the worn parts.
4.
Clean the remaining parts.
5.
Check all parts.
6.
Place the compression spring (3) inside the valve body (4).
7.
Insert the valve plate (5) and the valve insert (6).
8.
Screw on the valve cap (7).
Note the flow direction of the discharge and suction con‐
nectors when fitting the valve.

Place the compression spring with the end (see
figure: arrow N, at the bottom) on one of the lugs
in the valve body, as shown on the diagram.
Otherwise the valve plate may knock when in ope‐
ration.
