1. Partially fill Trough with water.
2. Flush dirt and debris from the Trough by removing the Sump Drain Cap.
3. Set Initial Water Level
For 49046, 49046-3, and 49046-4
Refill system with water. With the Hose Clamp (Item 4) loose, raise/lower the
3/4" Pipe (Item 5) to adjust the Initial Water Level. Use the Water Level Indicator
Bulb (Item 1) to set Initial Water Level height as shown and Re-tighten the Hose
Clamp (See Figure 27. below).
For 49046-5, and 49046-6
Refill system with water. Loosen the Float ball Adjustment Bolt (Item 11) and
move Float Ball to appropriate notch in the valve arm (Item 10) to adjust the Initial
Water Level using the Water Level Indicator Bulb as shown.
4. Check that the Float Ball is not rubbing against the side of the Sump.
