Changing the system configuration

Changing PIN settings

Procedure
1 Call up the "System config."
menu.
2 Call up the "PIN setting" sub-
menu.
3 Call up the required PIN change
function (Config. PIN, Selection PIN,
Extended PIN fct.).
Remark
PIN "0000" means that PIN protec-
tion is inactive.
4 Enter a new PIN.
5 Press OK to confirm.
6 Change other PINs as before or
press the ESC button three times to
exit the menu.
Changing the concierge function
for user 1
Procedure
1 Call up the "System config."
menu.
2 Call up the "Concierge fct."
function.
3 Use the down-arrow key to set
the concierge function for user 1 to
"off" or "on".
4 Press OK to confirm.
5 Press the ESC button twice to exit
the menu.

Changing the door parameters

Procedure
1 Call up the "System config."
menu.
2 Call up the "Door parameter"
submenu.
3 Call up the "Call signal time"
function.
4 Enter the call signal time in sec-
onds.
5 Press OK to confirm.
6 Call up the "Max. speech time"
function.
7 Enter the new maximum speech
time.
8 Press OK to confirm.
9 Call up the "Chain call time"
function.
10 Enter the chain call time in sec-
onds.
11 Press OK to confirm.
12 Call up the "Doormatic USER1"
submenu.
13 Call up the "Doorm. release"
function.
14 Use the down-arrow key to set
the doormatic release to "enabled"
or "disabled".
15 Press OK to confirm.
Remark
Only configure points 16–21 if the
doormatic release was set to "ena-
bled" in point 14.
16 Call up the "Doormatic signal"
function.
17 Use the down-arrow key to set
the doormatic signal to "with call"
or "without call".
18 Press OK to confirm.
19 Call up the "Doorm. function".
20 Use the down-arrow key to set
the doormatic function to "off" or
"on".
21 Press OK to confirm.
22 Press the ESC button four times
to exit the menu.
Changing the public network
parameters
Procedure
1 Call up the "System config."
menu.
2 Call up the "Publ. nwk. param."
submenu.
3 Call up the "Ext. line TCS 1"
function.
4 Use the down-arrow key to
select the external line digit for the
external line.
5 Press OK to save your selection.
6 Call up the "Ext. line TCS 2"
function.
7 Use the down-arrow key to
select the external line digit for the
external line.
8 Press OK to save your selection.
9 Call up the "Pause off hook"
function.
10 Use the down-arrow key to select
a pause time in seconds (1–3).
11 Press OK to save your selection.
12 Call up the "Pause to TCS 1"
function.
13 Use the down-arrow key to select
a pause time in seconds (1–3).
14 Press OK to save your selection.
Remark
Only configure points 15–17 if there
is a second downstream telephone
system/telephony gateway (tele-
phone system to telephone system/
telephony gateway).
15 Call up the "Pause to TCS 2"
function.
16 Use the down-arrow key to select
a pause time in seconds (1–3).
17 Press OK to save your selection.
18 Call up the "Call acceptance"
function.
19 Use the down-arrow key to select
the number of call signals until the
call is accepted.
20 Press OK to save your selection.
21 Press the ESC button three times
to exit the menu.
