Configuration
Preparation
• With manual programming: The
In-Home bus and all call destinations
in the TC system are configured and
ready for operation.
• When using the bus programming
software for programming: The
In-Home bus is ready for commis-
sioning and all call destinations in
the TC system are configured and
ready for operation.
• The DCA... is connected, via the
La/Lb terminal connection, to the
analogue PBX extension of a TC
system which provides the following
configuration:
- Operating mode: Telephone (no
fax, ...)
- ON: DTMF dialling process (even
during a call)
- OFF: Direct external line (auto.
engagement of the external line
when the receiver is picked up)
- OFF: Receipt of group calls by the
TC system
- OFF: Receipt of external calls (if
DCA call acceptance is enabled)
• Call destinations can be called
via a telephone system or a tele-
phone system's PBX extensions in
conjunction with a DRM 612-...
display call module. The BIM 650-02
is required for this function. The
call destinations for a telephone
system are dialled via a list of names
stored in the DRM 612-... Before
programming the DCA... all names
must be stored on the DRM 612-...
Programming and operation are
described in the DRM 612-...
product information.
• Call destinations can be called
via a telephone system or a tele-
phone system's PBX extensions in
conjunction with a COM 611-...
The BIM 650-02 is required for this
function. The telephone system's call
destinations are dialled via the key-
board. Operation is described in the
COM 611-... product information.

• Configuration PIN: 0000

telephone)
• User 1 (USER 1) is prepared for the
configuration in the DCA...
Important notes
• The DCA 650-...can be configured
manually or by using the BPS 650-...
bus programming software. Please
note that additional users (call desti-
nations) must still be created manu-
ally via the DCA-...
• Only one DCA... can be config-
ured at a time for each bus line.
• The DCA... can be protected
against unauthorised access by set-
ting a PIN.
• In order to operate it, at least
user 1 (USER 1) must be fully config-
ured on the DCA...
• If several call destinations are to be
called simultaneously via the DCA...,
this must be configured in the TC
system (e.g. group call).
• If it is to be possible to call the
DCA...via the TC system in order
to initiate switching functions or
extended functions at any time
via the telephone or to be able to
change the DCA... configuration,
then call acceptance must be acti-
vated in the DCA...
• The concierge function and the
doormatic function can also be
activated for the first user (USER 1)
created on the DCA...
• The door call can be configured
with or without acoustic call signal
output for the doormatic function
(automatic actuation of the door
release after a door call takes place).
• If several door stations are used,
further call buttons for other door
stations can be assigned to the users
registered in the DCA... via the "Call
btn assignm change with" submenu.
• The "Input configuration" and
"Output configuration" menus are
only shown if the DCA... has been
expanded with the "DoorCom
DCSF 600-0 switching/remote con-
trol interface" accessory.
• Chain call numbers can only be
programmed for users 1–3.
• To ensure that the system can
be expanded at a later date, only
the users that are actually assigned
should be registered in the DCA...
• A maximum of 3 door loud-
speakers can be actuated via direct
dialling.
• To use door direct dialling via tele-
phone on the DCA..., call accept-
ance must have been configured on
the DCA...
• If door call acceptance "without
DTMF" is selected, the "Call signal
time" and "Chain call function"
are disabled on the DCA... due to
this operating mode and cannot be
configured.
• If a user is deleted, the subsequent
users advance into the freed user
place. In the case of user 1, only its
configuration is deleted. The user
number itself is retained. Example
with 3 users: If user 2 is deleted,
then user 3 and its configuration are
moved to the user place of user 2.
