Audible tones

Tones and sequences of tones that
can be heard on the telephone
receiver when operating the DCA...:
ID tone 1
ID tone 2
ID tone 1 or ID tone 2 can be configured for each door station as the
ID tone for a pending door call.
If a connection to the DCA has been established via the telephone,
ID tone 1 is always output.
Special ID tone 1
Special ID tone 2
When activating the extended functions,
Special tone 1 replaces ID tone 1 and
Special tone 2 replaces ID tone 2.
Extended functions are (see DTMF function table):
• # 101–103... Change direct call number USER[x]
• # 21–23... Switch DCSF relay [x] (only with DCSF 600-0)
• # 41... Concierge function on/off
• # 51–56... System control function [x] (only via BSM/BSE 650-...)
• # 81–83... Chain call function USER [x] on/off
• # 801–803... Change chain call number USER [x]
• # 990–991... Enable/disable doormatic
• # 910 Function reset for the extended functions
Active tone
Passive tone
The active/passive tone sounds once for each status enquiry and switching
function.
Example: If a switching function is triggered, an active tone is output at the
receiver as soon as the control function has switched to an active state
(e.g. relay contact has been closed).
In the event of a call triggered by a DCSF input, the active/passive tone is
generated cyclically.
Positive acknowledgement tone
Sounds after a function (no status queries or switching functions) has been
correctly executed.
Negative acknowledgement
tone
Sounds on incorrect input of functions (no status queries or switching
functions) or on timeout.
Engaged tone
Sounds after a connection is aborted (e.g. due to timeout, triggered when
the maximum configured talk time is exceeded).
