13 Setting the thread cutter

13.1 Setting the thread cutter timing

Proper setting
The left edge of the lever must be at a distance of 80 mm from the right
edge of the arm.
The control cam is located at a distance of 1 mm from the lever.
When the pulley is engaged in the setting groove of the control cam, the
handwheel scale indicates 120°.

To set the thread cutter timing:
1. Loosen the screw (1).
2. Adjust the lever (2) to a distance of 80 mm from the right edge of
