16.5 Securing the shafts of the stitch length adjusting wheels
Information
If the stitch length shifts by itself after frequent bartacking, the shafts of
the stitch length adjusting wheels need to be secured.

(1) - Upper stitch length adjusting wheel
(2) - Clamping ring
(3) - Lower stitch length adjusting wheel
To secure the shafts of the stitch length adjusting wheels:
1. Remove the ventilation grid ( p. 17).
2. Loosen the screw (4).
3. Slide the clamping ring (2) to the right.
4. Slide the stitch adjustment lever (5) to the right.
