Setting the feed dog

8.2.3 Setting the feed dog stroke movement

Order
First, check the following setting:
• Set the feed dog height at top dead center ( p. 44)
Proper setting
The upper edge of the feed dog must be at the same height when the feed
dog is at front dead center (handwheel position 90°) as when it is at the
rear dead center (handwheel position 270°).
At 90°, the feed dog is in the upward movement; at 270°, in the downward
movement.

(1) - Threaded pins
To set the feed dog stroke movement:
1. Loosen the threaded pins (1).
2. Move the handwheel into the 90° position.
3. Turn the stroke eccentric (2) such that the upper edge of the feed dog
