In this configuration, the cabling within the Exadata machine is preserved. Only the
traffic on the Exalogic machine and the Exalogic-to-Exadata traffic use the spine
switches. The Exadata machine's local traffic is restricted to the leaf switches of the
Exadata machine. InfiniBand subnets can be created to separate traffic without any re-
cabling.
