Transferring Calls

You can transfer a call to another party using blind transfer (default) or consultative transfer.

Note:
The hard TRANSFER key on the AC-HRS device by default performs a blind transfer.
Your network administrator can change the key's functionality to consultative transfer.
See the Administrator's Manual for more information.

Performing a Blind Transfer

You can transfer a call to a destination party without consulting them.
To perform a blind transfer:
1.
Steven asks you – Alan - to transfer him to Hilary. Press the TRANSFER hard key on the
AC-HRS device or touch the BXfer softkey, or touch the Call Menu softkey and then touch
the menu option Blind transfer). Steven is put on hold.
2.
In the 'Blind transfer to' field, enter Hilary's number (4697) and then touch the Transfer
softkey or wait; Hilary's AC-HRS device rings.
3.
When Hilary picks up, Steve is automatically transferred to Hilary and your call with Steve is
automatically disconnected..
