DTC43 ECU CODE NOT MATCHED
DESCRIPTION:
Immobilizer Control Module and Fuel Injection Pump check if ECU codes registered in them respectively match.
If the codes do not match, Immobilizer Control Module sets DTC 43.
INSPECTION:
STEP
1 Was "Immobilizer Diag. Flow Table" per-
formed?
2 1) Register ECU code in immobilizer control
module according to "Procedure after Im-
mobilizer Control Module Replacement"
section.
2) Read DTC according to "Diagnostic
Trouble Code Check" section.
Does Suzuki scan tool indicate DTC 43
again?
ACTION
IMMOBILIZER CONTROL SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED) 8G-17
YES
Go to Step 2.
Faulty fuel injection pump
NO
Go to "Immobilizer Diag.
Flow Table".
Go to "Immobilizer Diag.
Flow Table".
