2007 ENGINE PERFORMANCE On-Board Diagnostic (MZI-3.5) - CX-9
6 VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF
DTC P115E HAS BEEN
COMPLETED
Verify that all disconnected
connectors reconnected.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position (Engine off).
Clear the DTC from the PCM
memory using the M-MDS.
Start the engine and run it at idle.
Retrieve DTCs using the M-MDS.
Is the PENDING CODE for this
DTC present?
7 VERIFY AFTER REPAIR
PROCEDURE
Perform "AFTER REPAIR
PROCEDURE".

Are any DTC present?
DTC P1260 [MZI-3.5]
DTC P1260 (MZI-3.5) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSES
DTC P1260 Theft detected, vehicle immobilized
DETECTION Indicates that the PATS determined a theft condition existed and the engine is
CONDITION disabled. This DTC is a good indicator to check the PATS for DTCs.

Anti-theft system failure Theft indicator flashing rapidly or on solid when
the ignition switch is in the ON position.
Check the anti-theft system for DTCs.

Yes Replace the PCM, then go to the next step.
