Connect test light between terminal B(R/L)
of LH license E-15 and ground.
Is test light ON?
Connect test light between terminal B(R/L)
5 and terminal A(B) or license LH E-15.
Is test light ON?
Connect test light between terminal B (R/L)
6 of RH license light E-16 and ground.
Is test light ON?
Connect test light between terminal B(R/L)
7 and terminal A(B) of license light RH E-16.
Is test light ON?
Repair open or short in the wire "R/L" or
No
replace.
Check for a poor connection at LH position
Yes light. If OK, replace the LH license light
bulb.
Check a poor connection at ground.
No If OK, repair open in the wire "B" or
replace.
Yes Go to next step
Repair open or short in the wire "R/L" or
No
replace.
Check for a poor connection at RH license
Yes light.
If OK, replace the RH license light bulb.
Check for a poor connection at ground. If
No
OK, repair open in the wire "B" or replace.
