Circuit testing
Tachometer
1. Check if the indication of tachometer is within the allowance range by use of tachometer tester.
Standard (RPM)
Inspection point:1000, 3000, 6000 rpm (at-20-60°C, 10-15V)
2. If beyond the range, replace the tachometer.
Speedometer
1. Check if the indicator of speedometer is within the allowance range by use of speedometer tester.
Standard (km/h)
2. If beyond the range, replace the speedometer.
Engine coolant temperature gauge
1. Check if the indicator of engine coolant temperature gauge is within the allowance range by use of variable
resistance.
