1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower the cutting units and disengage
the PTO. Remove the main drive shaft and disconnect the machine
from the tow vehicle. Secure the machine with tow bar jack; refer to the
Groundsmaster 1200 Operator's Manual.
2. Remove the cutting unit covers from the top of the cutting unit.
3. Use a ⅜" or ½" drive ratchet or breaker bar to relieve idler pulley tension and
remove drive belt(s) (12) from spindle to be serviced.
