Installing the Cutting Unit Drive Shafts (continued)
Cutting Unit Drive: Service and Repairs
A. Align the splines on the cutting unit gear shaft (1) to the cutting unit drive
shaft and press the quick release pin (2) and slide the cutting unit drive
shaft onto the cutting unit gear shaft.
B. Release the quick release pin (2) and check the locking of drive shaft (3)
by slightly pulling backward.

6. Lubricate the cutting unit drive shaft grease fittings; refer to the Operator's
Manual.
7. Slide the shield cones onto the center gear box and cutting unit gear box.
Torque tighten the clamp (4) to 3.3 to 3.9 N·m (30 to 35 in-lb).
