Datalogging
You can log data to a USB drive connected to the front panel for durations up to 31,536,000
seconds (365 days). The instrument configuration is locked during datalogging, so be sure to
configure the instrument properly before logging. If you are logging multiple channels and they
have the sync source, the instrument will produce one datalog output file. However, if each
channel or wiring group has a different sync source, you will get multiple data files.
To log data:
1. Press [Acquire] > Datalog .
2. Press Save to and select the USB directory for the log file. Press OK when done.
3. Press File Name and specify the datalog file name. Press OK  and Back when done.
4. Press Settings .
5. Press [Channels] and select the channels to be logged.
6. Press Duration and enter the total length of time over which data should be logged (in
seconds). Note that there are 3,600 seconds in one hour, and 86,400 seconds in one day.
7. Press Interval and specify the period at which data is to be recorded. The interval can be
from 50 ms to 86,400 seconds (one day).
8. Press CWA Setup and configure the CWA parameters for the measurements. Note that you
can specify a different sync source for each channel or wiring group.

Large File Sizes
The Datalog sidebar contains the datalog configuration and an
estimated file size. Before you begin a lengthy datalog, ensure
that you have more than enough free space on your USB drive. To
reduce the file size, you can decrease the duration, increase the
interval, or choose not to log one or more channels.
