Save and recall files

You can save Instrument setups and reference waveforms to internal instrument memory or to a
USB storage device for later recall. You can also recall default or factory default setups. You can
save screen images to USB storage in BMP or PNG formats. Acquired waveform data can be
saved to a USB drive in comma-separated values or binary formats.
USB Storage Devices
Most USB mass storage devices that do not identify themselves as hardware type "CD" are
compatible with the instrument. When the USB mass storage device is connected to the
instrument's front or rear USB host port, a small circle icon may be displayed briefly as the USB
device is read. Use your PC to create directories on a USB storage device. If two USB mass
storage devices are connected, the first is designated "\usb" and the second is "\usb2."
You do not need to "eject" the USB drive; simply ensure that any file operation is done, and
remove the USB drive. Many USB drives have lights that flicker or illuminate to indicate that an
operation is taking place. If your drive has such a light, refer to it to ensure that a save operation
has completed before removing the flash drive. Otherwise, wait a few seconds after the
instrument displays a completion message to ensure that the flash drive has completed
processing the received data.
