Viewing images recorded on a tape on
your computer (Windows users only)

Installing the USB driver

Before connecting your camcorder to your
computer, install the USB driver on the
computer. The USB driver is packaged together
with application software for viewing images on
the CD-ROM supplied with your camcorder.
Start the following operation without
connecting the USB cable to your
computer.
Connect the USB cable in step 8.
If the USB driver has been registered
incorrectly because your computer was
connected to your camcorder before
installation of the USB driver was complete,
reinstall the USB driver following the
procedure on page 128.
For Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows
2000 Professional, Windows XP users
If you are using Windows 2000 Professional or
Windows XP, log in with permission of
administrator.
(1) Turn on your computer and allow Windows
to load.
(2) Insert the supplied CD-ROM into the CD-
ROM drive of your computer. The application
software screen appears.
(3) Move the cursor to "USB Driver" and click.
This starts USB driver installation.

Installera USB-drivrutinen
Innan du ansluter videokameran till datorn
måste du installera USB-drivrutinen på datorn.
USB-drivrutinen finns på CD-ROM-skivan som
följde med videokameran. CD-ROM-skivan
innehåller även programvara för visning av
bilder.
Gör som följer utan att ha anslutit USB-
kabeln till datorn.
Anslut USB-kabeln i steg 8.
Om USB-drivrutinen inte har registrerats
korrekt på grund av att du anslöt datorn till
kameran innan installationen av USB-
drivrutinen var klar, installerar du om USB-
drivrutinen med hjälp av proceduren på sidan
128.
För användare av Windows 98SE, Windows
Me och Windows 2000 Professional, Windows
XP
Använder du Windows 2000 Professional eller
Windows XP loggar du in som administratör.
(1) Slå på strömmen till datorn och låt Windows
starta.
(2) Sätt i den medföljande CD-ROM-skivan i
datorns CD-ROM-enhet. Programvarans
fönster öppnas.
(3) Flytta markören till "USB Driver" och klicka.
Installation av USB-drivrutinen startar.
