Step 2: Setting the VCR to operate
with the i.LINK cable

(DV connecting cable)

When you connect using i.LINK cable (DV
connecting cable) (optional), follow the
procedure below.
(1) Set the POWER switch to VCR on your
camcorder.
(2) Turn the power of the connected VCR on,
then set the input selector to DV input. When
you connect a digital video camera recorder,
set its power switch to VCR/VTR.
(3) Press MENU to display the menu settings.
(4) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select
then press the dial.
(5) For DCR-TRV240E/TRV241E:
Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select
VIDEO EDIT, then press the dial.
For DCR-TRV340E/TRV341E/TRV740E:
Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select
TAPE in VIDEO EDIT, then press the dial.
(6) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select EDIT
SET, then press the dial.
(7) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select
CONTROL, then press the dial.
(8) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select
i.LINK, then press the dial.

Steg 2: Ställa in videobandpelaren

i.LINK-kabeln (DV-kabel)
För att ansluta med en i.LINK-kabel (DV-kabel)
(tillval), gör du som följer.
(1) Ställ POWER-omkopplaren på videokameran
i läget VCR.
(2) Slå på strömmen till den anslutna
videobandspelaren, ställ sedan
ingångsväljaren i läge DV-in. Om du ansluter
en digital videokamera ställer du dess
strömomkopplare i läget VCR/VTR.
(3) Visa menyinställningarna genom att trycka på
, MENU.
(4) Välj genom att vrida SEL/PUSH EXEC-
ratten, tryck sedan på ratten.
(5) För DCR-TRV240E/TRV241E:
Välj VIDEO EDIT genom att vrida SEL/PUSH
EXEC-ratten, tryck sedan på ratten.
För DCR-TRV340E/TRV341E/TRV740E:
Välj TAPE i VIDEO EDIT genom att vrida
SEL/PUSH EXEC-ratten, tryck sedan på
ratten.
(6) Välj EDIT SET genom att vrida SEL/PUSH
EXEC-ratten, tryck sedan på ratten.
(7) Välj CONTROL genom att vrida SEL/PUSH
EXEC-ratten, tryck sedan på ratten.
(8) Välj i.LINK genom att vrida SEL/PUSH
EXEC-ratten, tryck sedan på ratten.
