Connecting your camcorder to a
computer using the USB cable
(For Windows users)

Installing the USB driver

Start the following operation without
connecting the USB cable to the computer.
Connect the USB cable according to
"Making the computer recognise your
camcorder."
If you are using Windows 2000, log in with
permission of administrators.
If you are using Windows XP, log in with
permission of computer administrators.
(1) Turn on a computer and allow Windows to
load.
Or, if Windows OS is already running, close
all active applications.
(2) Insert the supplied CD-ROM in the CD-ROM
drive of the computer. The application
software starts up.
If the screen does not appear, double-click
"My Computer" and then "ImageMixer" (CD-
ROM Drive).
(3) Select "Handycam" on the screen.
The title screen appears.

Exécutez l'opération suivante avant de
raccorder le câble USB à l'ordinateur.
Raccordez le câble USB selon les directives
de la section « Détection de votre
caméscope par l'ordinateur ».
Si vous utilisez Windows 2000, ouvrez une
session de travail en tant qu'administrateur.
Si vous utilisez Windows XP, ouvrez une session
de travail en tant qu'administrateur.
(1) Mettez l'ordinateur sous tension et laissez
Windows se charger.
Si le système d'exploitation Windows tourne
déjà, fermez toutes les applications actives.
(2) Insérez le CD-ROM fourni dans le lecteur de
CD-ROM de l'ordinateur. Le logiciel
d'application démarre.
Si l'écran ne s'affiche pas, double-cliquez sur
« Poste de travail », puis sur « ImageMixer »
(lecteur de CD-ROM).
(3) Cliquez sur « Handycam » à l'écran.
L'écran de titre apparaît.
