1. Neutral switch

Right-side crankcase

1. Press the balancer shaft bearing, crankshaft
bearing, and both transmission bearings
into the right-side crankcase. Apply a liberal
amount of oil to each bearing prior to instal-
lation. Apply pressure to the outer race of
the bearing.
2. Install the oil baffle into the crankcase.

Crankcase assembly

1. Install the three dowels into the left-side
crankcase as shown in the photograph.
2. Install the right-side crankcase onto the left-
side crankcase. Note the position of the left-
hand connecting rod. It must be in the front
cylinder bore as shown in the photograph.
NOTE:
Use Yamaha bond #4 to seal the cases.
CAUTION:
First align the shift cam segment key with the
keyway in the crankcase, and install the right
side crankcase.
