If you need to connect CAT ports to the Radio, the Radio-RRC and the PA, check the
Remoterig RRC-1258 manual how to use the RRC as a serial port server. Eg. you connect the
PA to the RRC COM1 and the Radio to COM2.
If you have your remote station far away and do not have any other way of switching on/off
the 230VAC, you can use the RC-1216H PWR SW relay to control an external relay.
Remember that the relay should be 2 pole and should handle the large current needed by the
Expert 1K-FA. The PWR SW relay is controlled by the "MAIN PWR" Button. The "MAIN PWR"
Button must be activated for the software function even if you don't have connected anything
to the PWR SW relay. The AUX SW1 relay can be setup to follow either the Main PWR button
or the PWR ON/OFF button (see below).
Before you can start using the RC-1216H. You have also to prepare the cabling and do the
Initial setup, see Step by step RC-1216H setup.
