- Then click on the Serial settings link to the left.
- When the serial settings page shows up, select the same serial parameters that you
have set up in the SteppIR SDA-100 box.
- When set click on submit to store the settings.
- If you do not want to change anything else click on "apply changes" to update the RC-
1216H with the new settings, The unit will restart.
- Now connect the cables to the SDA-100.
- When the cables are connected click on "Main pwr" and the SDA-100 will power up.
- The Green Online LED will be steady, if it flashes, the connection with the SDA-100 is
not OK. Check cables and baud rate settings.
- If you have a CAT cable connected from the Radio to the SDA-100 the antenna will go
the last used frequency. Depending on if how you have connected the CAT cable to the
SDA 100 it can also go to the Radio frequency. If you have connected the CAT cable
via the RC-1216H AUX-SW1 you have to click on the "serial" button to get automatic
updates from the radio.
